Vintage Window Frame Mirror with Knobs

Vintage Window Frame Mirror with Knobs
The heavily aged and weathered look of this piece is what makes it SO COOL!!
A BIG-size six-panel mirror designed to look as if an old window frame has been repurposed directly into a mirror☆
The substantial wood frame is painted gray with white interior dividers, giving it the atmosphere of an actual window removed from an old American house and transformed into a decorative mirror♪
One of our favorite details is the row of FIVE white ceramic knobs along the bottom!!
These allow the piece to function as more than just a mirror—you can also hang hats, keys, accessories, or other small items from the knobs.
It’s a simple detail, but it adds an incredible amount of antique character◎
And we want to make one thing very clear:
THIS PIECE IS NOT IN CLEAN CONDITION!!
The wood shows extensive paint loss, chips, cracks, scratches, and other signs of age. The mirrored surfaces also have numerous marks, stains, and areas that cannot be removed through basic cleaning.
But with this particular piece, that’s exactly what makes it so COOL!!
Areas of paint have worn away to reveal the natural wood underneath, while layers of white paint have chipped and peeled over time.
This is completely different from the artificially distressed finish you see on brand-new “shabby” furniture—it has REAL aging and character that could only develop naturally over many years☆
Rather than restoring it to look new, we would love to see this piece displayed exactly as it is♪
While it can of course be used as a mirror, we especially recommend it as vintage wall decor.
By reflecting furniture, lighting, and the surrounding room, the six-panel window design can create the illusion that another space continues beyond the wall◎
It pairs beautifully with INDUSTRIAL, SHABBY CHIC, FARMHOUSE, garage-style interiors, and commercial shop displays!!
The chips, scratches, stains, peeling paint, and imperfections are all part of what makes this piece complete.
A vintage item with an atmosphere that simply cannot be recreated with something new☆
