The color combination and typography alone are pure OLD AMERICAN style♪ In the upper left corner, illustrations of the original RAINBOW PLANT FOOD / SUPER RAINBOW PLANT FOOD packaging are featured, with classic green, red, and yellow graphics that look absolutely incredible☆ And this isn’t just an ordinary advertising sign!! The lower right section features a large BLACKBOARD area, with the words: “FARM FLASHES” alongside a lightning bolt graphic. This appears to have been a functional advertising board used at farms, agricultural supply dealers, or similar locations, allowing users to write and regularly update farming news, prices, announcements, or other information on the blackboard◎ That combination of ADVERTISING SIGN + FUNCTIONAL MESSAGE BOARD makes this piece especially interesting!! And the CONDITION is absolutely amazing♪ The entire sign is covered with authentic signs of age, including rust, scratches, paint loss, dirt, and heavy weathering. The left side in particular has developed an incredible corroded and naturally deteriorated metal surface!! This isn’t something newly manufactured to look “vintage.” It has the REAL texture and character that can only come from metal that has aged naturally over many decades☆ The date was provided to us by the previous owner—a seriously hardcore vintage collector and a big, muscular American guy who REALLY knew his stuff!! A BIG-size advertising sign for “Bud Ice Draft” by Anheuser-Busch, the legendary American brewing company behind Budweiser☆ This time, we have TWO versions based on the same advertising campaign—an ENGLISH version and a SPANISH version!! ※Each sign is SOLD SEPARATELY◎ The first thing that catches your eye is the sharp, ice-inspired graphic design and the massive bottle of ice-cold Bud Ice Draft!! The bold combination of pink, purple, black, and silver is packed with unmistakable 1990s style♪ The English version features the slogan: “TASTE THE FUTURE OF DRAFT BEER” While the Spanish version reads: “SABOREA EL FUTURO DE CERVEZA DE BARRIL” Both carry the same futuristic message inviting you to “taste the future of draft beer”!! COUCK AND PHILIPPI Vintage Gas Price Sign An absolutely MASSIVE vintage gas price sign marked “COUCK AND PHILIPPI” from Los Angeles, California☆ Just look at the SIZE!! Even when held by an adult, this thing is huge!! With its heavy black metal frame and bold yellow × black × white color scheme, it looks like a piece taken straight from an old American gas station♪ Across the top is the large wording: “Self Service” Below that, three different fuel grades are displayed: Regular Unleaded PLU Super Unleaded Each section still shows a price of “100 9/10,” representing $1.009 per gallon!! And that classic American tradition of displaying fuel prices down to 9/10 of a cent makes this piece even cooler◎ Another great feature—this sign is DOUBLE-SIDED☆ Designed so drivers approaching from either direction could see the fuel prices, the sign is built into a large black metal frame with the rugged, utilitarian construction you would expect from a commercial gas station display♪ Even better, the bottom of the sign still retains the original manufacturer marking: “COUCK AND PHILIPPI LOS ANGELES” This detail indicates that the sign was manufactured by a Los Angeles-based company.
