Felix the Cat × Chevrolet Porcelain Sign
SALES
CHEVROLET
SERVICE

Felix the Cat × Chevrolet Porcelain Sign
An incredible BIG SIZE porcelain sign combining two icons of American culture—FELIX THE CAT and CHEVROLET☆
Against the soft blue background is a huge BLACK & WHITE Felix the Cat!!
On the left side are the words:
“SALES”
“CHEVROLET”
“SERVICE”
And even the bright RED bag Felix is holding features the CHEVROLET logo♪
This combination is seriously AMERICAN!!
Felix the Cat first appeared in 1919 and became one of the iconic characters of early American animation.
With more than a century of history behind the character, Felix’s classic expression looks absolutely perfect alongside the OLD-SCHOOL CHEVROLET graphics☆
And another major highlight is the MATERIAL!!
This is a PORCELAIN / ENAMEL sign, featuring a glass-like enamel coating fired onto a metal base.
The distinctive glossy surface and rich colors give it a completely different presence from an ordinary printed metal sign!!
It has that substantial, heavy-duty appearance that makes old porcelain advertising signs so GOOD◎
And just look at the SIZE!!
At approximately 76 × 76 cm, it’s a seriously impressive piece♪
You can really appreciate the scale when someone is holding it—and once mounted on a wall, the impact is even better!!
Perfect for an AMERICAN GARAGE or classic car collection, but it would also make an incredible wall display for a shop, vintage clothing store, DINER, showroom, or collection room☆
The edges show chips, areas of missing enamel, rust, scratches, scuffs, and other signs of age and use.
There is also a larger area of enamel loss along the lower section.
But with a PORCELAIN SIGN like this, that weathered appearance is part of the appeal!!
The exposed metal, chipped enamel, and aged surface create the kind of REAL vintage character that a clean reproduction simply can’t match♪
CHARACTER × AUTOMOTIVE × GARAGE CULTURE!!
It’s like several of the BEST elements of American vintage collecting packed into one massive sign☆
A seriously eye-catching piece with incredible presence!!
