BUD LIGHT

1987 Bud Light Spuds MacKenzie Vintage Light Display
This is a seriously SPECIAL piece for anyone who loves 1980s AMERICAN culture!!
A vintage illuminated display featuring Spuds MacKenzie, the legendary advertising character for Bud Light☆
Spuds MacKenzie—the famous Bull Terrier who became a massive Bud Light advertising icon during the late 1980s!!
The bottom of this piece is marked:
©1987 Anheuser-Busch, Inc.
And it also retains a date stamp reading:
“MAY 13 1988”
This is a genuine piece from the late 1980s, right around the time Spuds MacKenzie was becoming one of the most recognizable advertising characters in America◎
And this is definitely NOT just an ordinary figure!!
Spuds is sculpted in a large three-dimensional form wearing his iconic turquoise-blue outfit, with the chest featuring:
BUD LIGHT
Spuds MacKenzie
The sitting pose alone is incredibly cool and full of character—but there’s more!!
This piece is actually an ILLUMINATED DISPLAY☆
Inside the body is a dedicated lighting unit designed to hold TWO bulbs.
When illuminated, light shines through the translucent body, especially around the white head!!
The included bulbs are red and warm-tone, so in a darker room, a soft red-to-orange glow appears through the face and neck area, giving Spuds a completely different look compared with daytime♪
Unlike an ordinary wall-mounted beer sign, the CHARACTER ITSELF LIGHTS UP!!
That three-dimensional illuminated design gives this piece an incredible presence from every angle☆
And in recent years, vintage Spuds MacKenzie collectibles have become increasingly sought-after among collectors!!
Originally created as a promotional character for Bud Light, Spuds MacKenzie has now become an icon of 1980s American advertising and pop culture in his own right◎
After nearly four decades, this piece naturally shows vintage wear including scratches, scuffs, paint loss, discoloration, and other signs of age.
However, considering its age, we believe it remains in relatively good overall condition♪
A fantastic collectible for Bud Light fans, Spuds MacKenzie collectors, vintage beer advertising enthusiasts, or anyone who loves 1980s AMERICANA!!
Display it in a BAR, diner, garage, home bar, collection room, or American vintage shop and it’s guaranteed to stand out☆
