Vintage Mr. Magoo Sailor Doll
A fantastic vintage doll featuring one of America’s classic cartoon characters—Mr. Magoo!!
Mr. Magoo is an American animated character who first appeared in 1949☆
Famous for his extreme nearsightedness and his completely carefree attitude toward it, Magoo became known for wandering through one misunderstanding after another while somehow continuing on his way♪
He remains one of the most recognizable characters from classic American cartoon culture!!
And of course, the best part is that unmistakable FACE!!
The huge protruding nose, tightly squinted eyes, and big smiling mouth perfectly capture Mr. Magoo’s wonderfully comical expression◎
Just having him sitting on display gives this piece an incredible amount of character!!
This version features Mr. Magoo dressed in a classic SAILOR outfit☆
He wears a white sailor cap and matching sailor-style uniform, accented with red stitching, black trim, and black shoes.
The whole design has that nostalgic OLD AMERICAN look♪
The head is made from a dimensional resin-like material, while the body has a softer fabric construction.
The clothing is also made from separate fabric pieces rather than simply being molded onto the body.
Open up the sailor outfit and you’ll even find pink-toned fabric inside—one of those small details that makes this vintage doll so much fun to examine☆
It has a completely different personality from modern character figures!!
That slightly unusual expression, handmade-looking construction, and unmistakable vintage atmosphere give this piece a charm all its own◎
Highly recommended for collectors of AMERICAN CARTOONS, VINTAGE TOYS, and classic character memorabilia!!
It would also make an awesome display piece in a shop, garage, collection room, or any American-style interior♪
