A vintage wall plaque featuring a raised blue emblem on a warm wooden shield-shaped base ⭐︎
Sourced from the United States, this piece depicts a figure holding a firearm at the center, surrounded by the lettering “USS LEXINGTON” and “CVT-16.”
The design pays tribute to the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Lexington ◎
The brown woodgrain paired with blue and gold colors creates a striking combination ♪
The figure, lettering, and rope-style border are rendered in relief, giving the piece a distinctive military character.
Cracks, peeling paint, and changes in color across the emblem create a richly weathered appearance.
Together with the mellow finish of the wooden base, these details lend it the character of an older piece ◎
An ideal wall accent for a shop, garage, or home.
It also pairs beautifully with military collectibles and American vintage décor ♪
There are age-related scratches, scuffs, dirt, discoloration, and peeling paint. The central emblem has multiple cracks and chips along its edges, while the back shows staining and surface deterioration.
Please accept this wear and damage as part of its vintage condition.
A hanging fitting is attached near the top of the back. Before installation, check its condition and secure the plaque firmly using a method suitable for the piece and the wall surface.
