A vintage globe featuring colorful continents set against striking black oceans.
Sourced in the United States, this piece pairs a black globe with a shiny silver-tone stand.
Countries shaded in pink, yellow, green, and other colors stand out beautifully against the dark background.
Detailed place names and latitude and longitude lines invite a closer look.
Historical names such as “UNION OF SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLICS” reflect the era represented by the map.
The graduated ring surrounding the globe and the clean lines of the round base add to its appeal.
The weathered map and gleaming metal combine to create a classic look with an industrial feel.
Perfect for displaying on a desk, bookshelf, or sideboard, or as an accent in a shop or café.
Pair it with wooden furniture and old books to create a space full of character.
Please note:
The globe’s surface shows scuffs, scratches, and areas of map loss, with the white material underneath exposed in places. There is also wear along the equatorial seam.
The metal parts show minor scratches, tarnishing, and dirt. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the underside of the base.
As this is an older map, country names and borders differ from those of today. Recommended as a decorative piece.
Dimensions
W: Approx. 35 cm
D: Approx. 28 cm
