注射を待つ少年の姿が微笑ましい、ノーマン・ロックウェルの作品「Before the Shot」を収めた、木製フレームのアートプリントです⭐︎
アメリカから仕入れたこちらは、診察室でのひとこまを描いた、物語を感じられる一品◎
注射の準備をする医師の背後で、椅子に立った少年が、壁に掛かった証書をじっと覗き込んでいます。
「この先生に任せて大丈夫かな？」と確かめているような仕草が、なんとも愛らしいデザイン♪
脱いだ上着や帽子、床に置かれた靴、昔ながらの体重計など、細かな描写にも目を引かれます。
原画は、1958年3月15日号の『The Saturday Evening Post』の表紙を飾った作品。
日常の何気ない場面を、温かなユーモアとともに描く、ロックウェルらしい一枚です。
落ち着いた色合いの絵柄に、ブラウンの木製フレームがよく馴染んでいます◎
余白を広くとったクリームカラーのマットが、絵の細かな表情をやさしく引き立てています。

Behind the doctor preparing an injection, a boy stands on a chair, closely inspecting the framed certificate on the wall.
His pose seems to ask, “Can I really trust this doctor?”—a charming touch of humor.
Details such as his discarded jacket and cap, the shoes on the floor, and the old-fashioned scale invite a closer look.
The original artwork appeared on the cover of the March 15, 1958 issue of The Saturday Evening Post.
It is a lovely example of Rockwell’s ability to portray everyday moments with warmth and humor.
The muted colors of the print complement the brown wooden frame.
